Luis Enrique backs Barcelona to win trebble

With just a single game away from the Copa del Rey final, Barcelona boss Luis Enrique believes that his team despite the infamous distractions this season are in line to secure a treble. The manager who is not daunted with the fact that the Catalan giants remain two points adrift of arch rivals Real Madrid on the La Liga table believes that his side can still pip the European champions to the League.

Barcelona will face Villarreal in the return leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final armed with a 3-1 victory secured at the Nou Camp and even though Villarreal it was who forced Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw last weekend, Enrique believes that his team can inflict enough damage on the hosts to guarantee them a spot in the finals.

While speaking to reporters, he explained that the aim of every team including Barcelona is to always get a win and no matter the number of competitions that they may be involved in, they always want to get the best results. He however urged his side not to be carried away with the 2-goal advantage that they have when they play Villarreal on Wednesday noting that the hosts who currently sit at the sixth position on the La Liga will derive motivation from the point they earned at the Spanish capital last weekend.

He also stated that Villarreal are one of the few attack minded teams in the Spanish League thereby making it quite difficult for any team to get past them. According to Enrique, if his side are able to put up an amiable performance, they should be able to see off the hosts before things go south. He is also banking on the fact that an attacking trio consisting Luis Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi would prove more than a handful for any team and hopes to use the three prong attack to his advantage when both teams clash on Wednesday.
